Publix: $10 off $50 Gas Card Purchase

Get $10 off $50 gas card purchase when you purchase $25 worth of groceries, and that's before coupons are deducted!  Publix will begin this promotion this Thursday, May 5th.  Pick up a sales flyer and look for the coupon for the $10 off $50 gas card purchase.

The last time Publix ran this promotion, I split my groceries into two orders of $25 each.  That way, I qualified for two gas cards.  One tricky thing is, before you hand over all your coupons for the groceries (which might take your subtotal to below $25 which means you now don't qualify for the discounted gas card) give the cashier the $10 off $50 gas card coupon first. 

If you're interested in this, don't wait!  Last time, the promotion was so popular, they temporarily ran out of all their gas cards!  And with gas prices climbing, who couldn't use a little help paying at the pump?
